Pilot of Jaú will represent the region in the Brazilian and South American Open Kart

Croce prepares for competition weekends

Jauri Fernando Croce, 35, will participate in the Brazilian and South American Open Kart Championships over the next two weekends. They are important races of the category and the pilot will be representing the interior of São Paulo. Both competitions will last two days and will be held at the Granja Viana International Kart, located in the city of Cotia (SP).

Expectations could not be better. The pilot is focusing on changes in his career, including debut with new look and unpublished painting of helmet and fairing. This reform of layout and color is a tribute and remembrance of the time when his father, who died in 2014, ran Super Kart: “I’m using this as a new phase in my career,” he says.

The Brazilian Open of Kart has the official races scheduled for 22 (Friday) and 23 (Saturday) June. During the week the riders will be able to practice the free practice. The event will feature more than 15 categories, all in the final preparation for the Brazilian Kart, which takes place in July. For this test Croce expects to hit his equipment and go-kart. “It’s still a championship, but my focus of this open is preparation. I want to be competitive for the Brazilian to be able to fight for the title, “says Fernando.

The South American Rotax will take place between June 25th and 30th, including training, classification and the final competition in the last two days. Based in Brazil for the second time, the championship promises to be one of the most disputed of the last years. Among the seven editions already done this is the one that is attracting more foreigners. The event will show the high level of the international competitions of the category, besides guaranteeing to the champion a vacancy in the World-wide one.
