Croce will race at the Italian GT Championship

Brazilian signs with Vicenzo Sospiri Racing
Brazilian Fernando Croce has signed with Vincenzo Sospiri Racing to compete for the Italian Gran Turismo Championship with a Lamborghini Huracan Super Cup GT3.
Fernando Croce last year competed in Formula 3 Brazil for the team owned by Dárcio dos Santos, and finished the season in the eighth position with 22 points. Croce will share the driving of his car with compatriot Nicolas Costa, who competed last year in Formula 4.
Croce has already competed in GT3 in Europe and Brazil, in addition to having tested at AutoGP. In Brazil ran Dodge Viper and Chevrolet Corvette seasons 2011 and 2012. In the 2013 season competed with a Ferrari 458 in Europe and GT Brazil.
In the 2014 season, Fernando Croce won the Brazilian Cup of Kart twice. This year, in addition to competing in the Italian GT Championship, the rider will contest the Master Series Super WSK in Casteletto on June 3 and the World Kart Championship.
The Master Series Super WSK will prepare for the World Kart Championship,” said the driver. “I will do all season for the VSR (Vicenzo Sospiri Racing), where we have good chances; I believe a lot in the team, and we are looking for victories and maybe also fight for the title, “said Croce.
Sospiri’s team will have yet another Huracan for the Israeli Baruch Baruch, who will have as companion the Chinese Jia Tong Liang. The opening race of the season will take place on May 1st at the Autodromo de Monza.

Sospiri is an Italian rider who went on to compete in F1, and won the F3000 title in 1995, when Brazilian Ricardo Rosset finished as a vice.
The duo in 1997 would compete for the F1 team Lola, who would have sponsored Mastercard, but the cars did not qualify for opening race that season, and the budget was not sent to the team that closed. Sospiri still competed in the IRL, CART.
In 2001 Sospiri stopped competing and began to dedicate himself to managerial duties and founded his own team.
