It started on Monday (16) the second phase of the Brazilian Kart Championship. The national competition will be played at the Granja Vianna International Kart, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, and will take to the track the best riders in the country.

Despite the incident during the last race of the Open (23/6), which involved his absence in the South American Championship, Croce resumed his activities for the Brazilian: “I’m still recovering, but I’m very focused and committed. I hope to be able to complete both races without any problems to be able to fight for both titles, “he said.

Throughout the week, each category has two qualifying events and one pre-final. On Saturday will be held the grand final – whose result determines the champion. In the first phases of the competition the system of lost points is adopted, in which the winner loses nothing, the second one has withdrawn a point, the third two and so on. The riders with the least points lost are qualified for the final. The winner of the last heat is consecrated as Brazilian champion.

Fernando knows it will not be an easy task, but he has been very optimistic. “It’s the toughest championship in the category, but I managed to hit my kart and chassis at the Open. I’m confident in my equipment for the podium, “he said.

This is one of the most important weeks for sports lovers. The finals of all 20 categories will be broadcast live on SporTV and GloboEsporte.com
